Revising for Graduate Students & Postdoctoral Scholars

Many scholars struggle with the process of revision, yet learning to revise your writing is an essential skill that all graduate students and postdoctoral scholars need to possess. This 90 minute workshop will examine strategies for effectively revising your writing for dissertations, journal articles, proposals, etc. and help you gain both expertise and confidence in the process.
About the Speaker:
Dr. Mardena Creek has been teaching writing at the UC Davis since l988. From 1998-2001 she served as Director of Composition. Dr. Creek has conducted numerous workshops on graduate writing, taught a dissertation writing seminar, and produced "A Brief Annotated Bibliography: Resources for Thesis/Dissertation Writers and Their Advisors" available through the University Writing Program.
